In JobBuddy, go to My Work → Messages & Comments (#/messages); related Inbox item at #/inbox.

Confirm access and starting state
Access to the source record and project; permission to comment/reply.

Complete the main setup
Review unified list, source context, unread/read behavior, reply and mention audiences, attachments if supported, deep links, Inbox relationship, and what happens when source access is removed or a record is archived.
