Schedule and field operations
Save a map view, build an optimized route, and send it to mobile
Filter the map, preserve a useful view, create a route with constraints, and navigate it from the field. Follow the current customer-facing workflow and verify access, status, and resulting records before continuing.
Before you begin
- Audience: Location Admin, scheduler, manager.
- Map/Location Admin access
- mapped addresses
- eligible work
- mobile access for navigation.
My Team → Map (#/map) → Save as View or Route Planner; mobile route list #/m/routes

Open the workspace
In JobBuddy, go to My Team → Map (#/map) → Save as View or Route Planner; mobile route list #/m/routes.
-
Confirm access and starting state
Map/Location Admin access; mapped addresses; eligible work; mobile access for navigation.
-
Complete the main setup
Review Filters/Conditions/Options, unscheduled/unassigned filters, save/edit view, choose route date/start/end, stop limits, Optimize, save/archive, Google Maps/copy link, and why an address or item may be omitted.
-
Verify the result
Filter the map, preserve a useful view, create a route with constraints, and navigate it from the field.
Expected result: Filter the map, preserve a useful view, create a route with constraints, and navigate it from the field.
Troubleshooting
The page, control, or action is unavailable.
Confirm the required access and starting state: Map/Location Admin access; mapped addresses; eligible work; mobile access for navigation.
The result is incomplete or unexpected.
Saved filters and route stops are different records; date, office start/end, min/max stops, project access, and route optimization affect the result; mobile only shows saved routes.
The issue remains after checking the record.
Capture the exact visible error, record status, approximate time, and intended result. Give support only the minimum customer-safe evidence needed to trace the problem.
What happens next
- Filter the map, preserve a useful view, create a route with constraints, and navigate it from the field.
- Review the resulting record, status, notifications, and related history before continuing downstream work.
- Use the related guide when the next action belongs to another JobBuddy workflow.
